Is it possible to put a tooltip against PushControl?

I'm stuck in the dark ages on Progress/OpenEdge

I'm not sure how you set properties in OpenEdge, but the tooltip property for the PushButton control is called ToolTipText. Is this available, and if so, does setting it work for you?

There is no property called ToolTipText I can access in OpenEdge.
