Hi,

Mostly I allow the maxmize button to do just that. However, there are a couple of applications where I have set the maximum size a window can be to something less than the fullscreen.

In this case when these applications are maximised by the user, the Office 2007 frame is chopped off with sharp corners. I guess the reason for this is that when the application fills the screen it would not be possible to show rounded corners.  However it is no longer safe to assume that a maximized state means that the application fills the screen.

It is possbile see this behaviour with VB6 when using the Formextender and setting the ClientMax Width and Height or setting these values in the form property in VB2005.

Regards to all,
