When creating an event, I use a markuplabel control to show what the event will look like on the calendar.  Does anyone know of a formula to calculate the lighter shade of a given color?  As it stands now, I will have to create a table for each corresponding color in my label list.  If any color changes, I will have to update the table as well.  Given any color, I would rather just calculate an offset of a few shades and use that as the lighter color in the gradient.

Does anyone know how to calculate the lighter shade for a calendar event?  Given that it doesn't have to be exact, does anyone know of a forumla to calculate a lighter shade of any color?  Thanks for your feedback.

Sincerely,

John Coffey
