I have a number of icons in 16x16 bmp format. They are used in an existing VB ImageList. I am attempting to redo our menu system with the Command Bars Designer and can't figure out how to import these bitmap files. I've created a new control, gone to the icon pane, selected the id for the new control and clicked on the new icon. I specified 16x16 and got what appears to be template icons for various button states. When I click on Import from BMP, I select the desired bitmap file and then nothing happens beyond a screen refresh. I have tried importing various bitmap images and png images containing single and multiple icons and can't seem to get anything to work.

1. Can anyone deconfuse me please?

2. Is there a way to bring in 50 or 60 images at once by messing with the underlying designer's XML?

Hi,

Whe you run "Impot from Bitmap", you need select each icon and define Id for it.

Thanks. It wasn't apparent to me that I had to actually click the icon once the designer displayed it to me.
