The help file shows how to save and load the report settings using a file but I was wondering if it was safe to use the registry to store this information. I know the string is pretty long but I don't know what limits of the registry are and whether the settings string will always short enough to fit.

https://forum.codejock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1142 - This thread might help describe the size limitations of the registry. Sounds like anything larger than 16K is stored in a file instead of the registry.
