You should skip 13.0 and implement the Office 14 style (I'll post pictures in the Wish list forum) this year

I'll do the German translation later today.

I've looked at the Swedish translations (in the whole Tookit), and they are... terrible. I'm afraid it would take too long to translate it all.

I think one of the problem is that too many people gives suggestions and translate litteraly.. and late.
For example italian translation of ribbon is correct, but it is not the one present in office.
You have to find one person per language and give him rc files before releases.
Most items can be translated automatically using MS Translation Glossaries from MSDN.

Also, one must take ALT-shortcuts into consideration. Some of the dialogs have faulty shortcuts due to conflicts in the dialog resources.

Perhaps you should set up an area where members can alter the translations on the web, with source control. That way, users can discuss changes and make sure the translations are indeed "state of the art".

It would be great if you could then mark translations as "bad" and "ok". That way you would see how much has been translated correctly.

Actually for most, MS Translation Glossaries from MSDN were used.

Hi,

If you have MFC version, please update rc files in Source\..\res folders and attach it. If you have SuitePro version, please run ResourceEditor tool and update translations.
