I'm trying to skin my menu bars using Skin Builder with the menu bar's theme set to xtpThemeNativeWinXP.

The menu bars render correctly using the defined background image, however each bar seems to have a built in 3D look. One of our existing skins has a recessed appearance with internal shadows for the menu bar rather than a raised effect. Others are flat, or have a flat border.

Is there any way to use this theme with a 'flat' appearance, such that any 3D or border effects can be achieved using the background image from SkinFramework alone?

Add

CommandBars.PaintManager.FlatMenuBar = True
CommandBars.PaintManager.FlatToolBar = True
