If I want to use custom theme I have to use CXTPStatusBar (o/w the themes will not paint a CXTStatusBar Object), but to use the advanced status bar functions I should use CXTStatusBar because some advanced functions are only in the CXTStatusBar.

Am I missing something here? or do I have to Choose from theme status bar and advanced status bar?

it is _developer_ forum. So where your hands? :)

create class derived from CXTStatusBar and add code from

CXTPStatusBar::OnPaint.
