xtpControlButtonPopup gives me a straight button which notifies me when clicked

xtpControlSplitButtonPopup gives me a button plus drop arrow but I only get a notification when the arrow is clicked.

Is there a way to get notifications from the second type when the button is pressed?

WM_COMMAND with the button ID

Oleg, apologies. Perhaps I'm not thinking straight. Are there 2 different WM_COMMAND notifications sent from the button and dropdown arrow?

Hello,

When button is clicked you can catch WM_COMMAND

when dropdown arrow you can catch WM_XTP_INITCOMMANDSPOPUP
