Hi CJ-Team,

if I use the pattern-property of the FlatEdit-control there is a "red zig-zag" line (like a Spellchecker) in the control (only in runtime-exe!).

Please how can i deactivate this line?

Sorry, but I can't find anything about this feature in the helpfile.

Hi,

Thats the whole idea of using the pattern . When text string doesn't match pattern string you have a zigzag

OK, I understand. But do you know, if there is a way to hide this zigzag?

...Because in my case it is not, what I need.

i dont see any property to turn off the marking if it doesnt match pattern. maybe you can set the pattern to "" and do the validation manually. anyways even if you set a pattern it doesnt prevent the user from entering invalid entries. it just marks the text with the red zigzag line.

You are right when setting the pattern to "" the 'zigzag line' won't appear. Preventing from entering invalid chars you have to deal with yourself (we know SetMask isn't that wonderfull )
