I'd like to fix the main menu to the top of the window (above any toolbars) and remove it's gripper.
I can lock it at the top of the window so it can't be floated or docked to any other edge but I can't see how to get rid of the gripper bar and stop users from positioning toolbars above it. Any ideas? --- Al. Edited by Alistair |

pMenuBar->EnableDocking(xtpFlagStretched); pMenuBar->ModifyBarStyle(CBRS_GRIPPER, 0); |

Was ModifyBarStyle added after Toolkit Pro v8.51? It's not anywhere in the source.

Oleg mentioned ModifyBarStyle() which I've looked at in the help before and wondered what the available styles are: the help doesn't list them!
Anyway, it works (thanks) but users can still position my toolbar *above* the menu bar. Is it possible to force all toolbars to be *below* the menubar? The quality of the help has been discussed elsewhere but a list of all the styles available to ModifyBarStyle would be a huge improvement. --- Al. |

You can only lock all other toolbars for that.
