    Posted: 13 March 2008 at 10:03am
Hi,

I am using Visual Studio 2008 (C#) together with the codejock reportcontrol in my win.forms solution.

In my form i have a keypress event. The KeyPreview property in my form has been set to true in order to fire that keypress event as soon as the form detects a key press. This is working fine as long as i do not add the reportcontrol to my form. When i now add the report control, the keypress event is only being handled when i am located in a textbox with my cursor. It looks like the reportcontrol is overriding my keypress event.

Is there a workaround to use the keypress event together with the report control in my solution?

Kind regards.

If the report control has the focus and you press a key, the report events keyDown/KeyUp are fired... did you try to use this events to resend the key pressed to form's keypress event ?
