Is it possible to install two different XtremeSuite versions (10.3.1 and 10.4.0) on the same computer without upgrading my 10.3.1 vb6 projects to 10.4 ?

I think possible, but you always have to answer "no" to upgrade.

I´ve installed the new 10.4 XtremeSuite on a already installed 10.3.1 machine. After opening my 10.3.1 VB6 project it updates the controls without asking me to do that !!!

So I deinstalled the 10.4 package and after that also the 10.3.1 controls are unregistered so that I had to manually register (regsvr32) them ...

How can  I use two versions of the suite parallel without auto-updating of the controls ?

In the Project Properties of VB (tab General) you can uncheck the checkbox 'Upgrade ActiveX Controls'

Maybe this can be a solution?

Yes, I did is so, too.

There you might see a Checkbox (bottom left) to enable/disable the Auto-Update for ActiveX-Components.

The only problem is, that you can't add icons to any ImageManager in design-time if you've installed 2 or more versions of the Suite.

Are there any suggestions to solve this  icons-problem, oleg?
