I have a CXTPDockingPane containing a view I have derived from CTreeCtrl. I have a set of 32bit icons with Alpha channel shadows. If I use the TVS_TRACKSELECT in the create, then the icon backgrounds/shadows slowly turn black as you move the mouse over them. If you actually select (click mouse) an item, the icon is re-drawn OK again, until you move the mouse some more.

Is there a fix or workaround for this?

Hello, think nothing can be done with CTreeCtrl. Or remove alpha layer or trackselect.

ps.Don't forget to test application in old Oses. ComCtrl support s32 bit alpha icons only in WinXP.

Also try CXTTreeCtrl instead. Think it will work.

Thanks - CXTTreeCtrl behaves perfectly.
