HOWTO: Icon only in header and text in groupby

Hi;

I have a column that should show only an icon when visible in the report header.
When the column is dragged to the group by area or is shown in the fieldchooser list control it should show the description (name) of the column.
How can this be achieved????
I tried several approaches, but when the column is part of the group by area and then also visible in the report header (see screenshot) it always shows the name only.

This does not work. Just enable column sizing and you see what I mean. I only want a symbol without any caption in header for a sizeable column!
