Starting with its button on the pane manager bar, I want to open a docking pane in "pinned" mode so that it does not self-hide. The reasons for that are 1) so the view resizes itself and 2) the user can work with the docking pane and the view together.
Then I want to close it using the X button, but not delete it. That way its button remains on the pane manager bar to use again. How? Thanks, Michael |

You need to turn off "closeable" --- I do it in OnDockingPaneNotify, like this:
