   I use SetTitle outside the notify****, but the program crash.

   Hi,
 
   
  Guess you use wrong pointer to call SetTitle. Don't save pointers for panes - after you change layout they will be destroyed. 
call m_paneManager.FindPane(ID)->SetTitle("New");
