I have a MDI app using CTabClientWnd. How can I add a new tab but NOT activate it?

Just create not active ChildFrame:

void CChildFrame::ActivateFrame(int nCmdShow)
{
 if (!m_bActivate)
 {
  nCmdShow = SW_SHOWNOACTIVATE;
  m_bActivate = TRUE;
 }

 CMDIChildWnd::ActivateFrame(nCmdShow);
}
