I am using XTK 10.4.2. I believe I have found a bug in the docking pane when the panes switch when I move the mouse from one tab to another tab on the pane control bar. I am working with panes that open by sliding rightward from the left window border.

This works as expected:
  1. Create 2 panes for the MainFrame.
  2. Hover the mouse over the tab for pane 1, and it slides open.
  3. Move the mouse over the tab for Pane 2. Pane 1 closes and Pane 2 slides open.
  4. Everything works as expected.

This does not work right:
  1. Create 2 panes for a ChildFrame.
  2. Hover the mouse over the tab for Pane 1 and it slides open.
  3. Move the mouse over the tab for Pane 2. Pane 1 slides closed and Pane 2 opens with an unsaved region on the right edge.
  4. Move the mouse back to tab for Pane 1 and it opens with its own unsaved border on the right end.
The unsaved border shows a few mm width of the window interior which is not drawn over by the docking pane surface. Here is an example in which the childframe window has a cyan colored background. You can see it right of the diocking pane and also inside the docking pane border:

If I close and open different panes by moving the mouse into the client area of the ChildFrame, rather than by switching tabs, then the docking pane border is drawn correctly. This happens if the panes drop down or move right or any of the 4 directions.

It looks like the background save buffer is not being sized correctly and is related to the size of the currently open pane.

Is there a workaround to fix this?

Michael
