Hi,

I'm trying to BestFit a column whose column header contains an icon, but I cannot figure it out how to correctly do it.

Before adding columns to the ReportControl, it has been set as follows:

ReportControl1.AutoColumnSizing = False

The result of the BestFit from a column whose column header (caption = "CSC") does not contain an icon, is as follows (it displays the caption "CSC" completely, which IS OK):

Any ideas how to BestFit a column whose column header contains an icon, that is, display the icon in the column header AND display the caption "CSC" completely?

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Yes you are correct, BestFit doesn't calculate columnwidth correct with an icon. I will add it to my list https://forum.codejock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=16309, thanks

The only thing you can do for now is setting a MinimumWidth for that column.

Hi,

After some investigation I found that Bestfit works if you don't set wndReportControl.PaintManager.DrawSortTriangleStyle = xtpReportDrawSortTriangleAlways and the SortIcon is already present in the column (if sorticon isn't visible bestfit doesn't calculate width the right way)

Maybe this will help support to find the problem
