Is it possible to hide a button (or change its text) in a CXTPTaskDialog? I want to show a "Cancel"-button and then, in OnTimer, change it to "Finish".

Hello,

You can use our version always (bUseComCtl32 = FALSE) and in OnTimer:
GetDlgItem(IDCANCEL)->SetWindowText(...);
