Hi,
We have noticed an issue using our application on a laptop running WinXP sp2 in vmware. On some windows the itunes skin causes either the min, max or close buttons to dissappear. Here is a screenshot showing a close button missing, note the functionality still works.. ie when you click the invisible button area it closes the window ![]() uploads/20080711_014241_CodeJockMissing.rar v12.01 doesn't resolve the issue. Anything I should be aware of? TIA |

I need to activate this issue again.
We have a test PC that reproduces the "missing close button picture" without VMware!! I can detect if this is happening using the GetPixel Lib "gdi32" API and can change skin. But QA wont let me do this. They say, "if it dosen't work dont include it - we dont want to create support for ourselves and also lose cred by including things that dont work or dont work right, we have to maintain a very high standard of quality" Seeing its easy enough to reproduce this issue on VMWare, could I raise this as a bug? Here's the info: Win XP2 NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 I've attached a zip file with the pc's nfo file (run > msinfo32) and 3 x Fullscreen (real os - not vmware) screenshots all showing modal windows missing their close buttons: uploads/20080729_014719_MissingCloseBtn.zip |

The problem was the closebutton.png wasn't present on the target machine.
The results was: I think a lot of these issues I'm raising would go away if you could kindly add some functionality that detects if the image is too skinny or doesn't exist and tell users :) |

Hi, glad that problem has simple solution :)
to prevent it in future - include all skin to exe or single cjstyles file.
