How do I make a pane so that it is only allowed to be docked on the left or right side of my form?

I'm not sure this can be done.  I would try something with pane actions.  I don't see how to tell which side the pane is docking.  I only have an old version of codejock on this computer so I can't say for sure until monday when I can look at the current code
