CXTPControlFontComboBox Vs. CXTFontCombo

   When I got version 8.7 I ended up using a CXTFontCombo in my toolbar, because I couldn't get CXTPControlFontComboBox to work correctly.
Now that I have 9.7 I switched to CXTPControlFontComboBox, because CXTFontCombo was buggy when it came to drawing itself in the toolbar (I kept changin it's look from a regular combo to a flat combo, and back). But I miss the fact that CXTFontCombo would let you display the font sample in the drop down list.
Has anyone implemented this feature for the CXTPControlFontComboBox?
I am trying to do the same thing here.  I switched from CXTFontCombo to CXTPControlFontComboBox, becasuse CXTFontCombo has problems!
I am trying to put the DrawItem routine of CXTFontCombo in the CXTPControlFontComboBox, but no matter what I do, I can't get it to receive WM_DRAWITEM, WM_MEASUREITEM or WM_COMPAREITEM messages!
Any suggestions
