dynamic convert MDI child to FrameWnd?

   Is there any way I can setup a single CXTPFrameWnd class that can be both an MDI Child window and a regular CXTPFrameWnd (allowed to drag outside the MDI window).
I am trying to achieve what MS Access does when you turn on the option to show MDI child windows on the task bar, which allows you to drag MDI child windows to a 2nd monitor.
