Is there a way to use this as a button not as a drop down menu? It would be really interesting if there was a way to do that?

Hi,
You can try
Set ControlFile = RibbonBar.AddSystemButton()
Set ControlFile.CommandBar = Nothing but user will not be able to press it :(
