I have placed i VB6 textbox in a CommandBarControlCustom and set it up in InitCommandsPopup like: Set ControlForm = Commandbar.controls.add(xtpContolCustom, 0, "popit" ControlForm.handle = winpop.hwnd 'contains textbox Is it not possible to type in that textbox when visible rgds Ragnar

Use xtpControlEdit instead.
