   Hi CodeJock forum,

one of our customers has recently updatet VMWares ViewClient to version 6.0 and since then most of our developed applications didn't load anymore. After some troubleshooting we found out, that the applications where waiting on the CJ ShortcutBar, that didn't load. We tried it with CodeJock 16.2.4 and 16.3.1 but the applications would always hang up on the ShortcutBar. With each application, we have a .manifest file, which declares dependencies to the Windows Common Controls. After we removed the .manifest files, each program loaded without a problem. To summarise: the programs are written in (Visual) DataFlex 17.1 the operating system on which we tested was a Windows 7 emulated with VMWare and opened through the so called "ViewClient Version 6.0" used CodeJock versions where 16.2.4 and 16.3.1 (both 32-bit, non-unicode) with the .manifest files programs hang up while trying to load the ShortcutBar, but load without problems, when the .manifest files are removed Is this a known problem? Is there a fix for it (besides removing the .manifest files, we may need them)? |

Hi Mara,  can you please try the latest version 16.4.0 and let us know if this resolves the problem?  Thanks!
