Hide ShortcutBarItems?

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   Is there a way to hide all of the ShortcutBarItems?  I want to hide the "buttons" from the user and programmatically change the panes based on other parts of the UI.
