Topic: markup enhancement questionsPosted: 13 August 2008 at 9:44am |
regarding codejock xaml, i have two questions:a) is there a 'edit' ui elemet planned? b) can i register a xaml snippet as a 'control' to reuse it in many other places? ... and a suggestion i think, it would be nice to construct a 'xaml' layout handy directly from code without the indirection with text. Thanks for any answers, Andreas |

a) Yes, think it will be added . Not in next 2 releases :-(
b) Not yet :(
c) If you have MFC version you can do it.
Check CMarkupPadView::CreateCodeMarkup in Utilities\MarkupPad\MarkupPadView.cpp code.

thanks for your answer!
to a) do you mean '2 years' with '2 releases' ;-) ? this would be a real cool feature! with this the markup could be used for full 'form' interaction. to c) looks good, (looked at this sample, but i missed this) as far as i can see now, this makes part b) not so important for me Andreas |

I would love to see 'edit ui' feature as well - any information if this is planned in the near future?
