Hi,

I have a VS2005 c# CommandBars/Calendar app using CJ version 12.1 ActiveX.
What exactly do I need to deploy to get this to work?

The Help file (
Files Required when Distributing Software with Codejock Components)
says that I just need to deploy the ocx files.  If I do this locally (development machine) or on network, the app crashes when started.

If I include the Ax and interop dlls as well, the app does not crash. Locally it works as expected.
However, when I deploy to the network, although the app starts, clicking on the CommandBars do not fire any Execute Events.

I have built the Ribbon in code, not with the Designer Studio, similar to the Ribbon Sample code.

In fact, I have just tried to deploy the Ribbon Sample itself, and it crashes as well, even with ocx and dlls and Merge Module.

What is going on? I have wasted 2 days trying to work this out.

Andrew

I have attached the setup.exe and the error message I get when I attempt to run the RibbonSample.exe after installing it.

You are up pretty late!

Regards
Andrew

Sorry, it was over 2000KB when combined with the setup.exe.
Here is the MSI by itself.

I do not use Click Once
