I have a docking pane view that renders its contents using OpenGL. Everything works great until I float that pane. Then, every time that the OpenGL pane loses focus, the content area goes blank and/or renders garbage. In fact, just moving the mouse to be over any of the buttons on the docking pane title bar (e.g. close or pin) will also cause the contents to go blank. Giving the pane focus again causes it to repaint and it again works fine.
Again, the OpenGL pane behaves just fine when it loses focus while it is docked. When the pane loses focus, none of my code in the OpenGL view gets called, I'm not doing anything special when views lose focus.
Any hints would be appreciated. What actually happens when a floated pane loses focus that might affect my situation?
Thanks in advance
