PopupControlItem is incomplete. Once again I find myself saying "oohh look a lovely control" followed about an hour later by "arrrghhh crap it doesnt work" If I want to make a PopupControlItem a hyperlink I have nowhere I can store the URL for that hyperlink. For static destinations this doesnt matter because just like in your example you can hard code a link in the PopupControl_ItemClick event. There is nowhere for this information to be stored in PopupControlItem and so when the time comes in PopupControl_ItemClick to do your linking to recordid=34234 you cant. I find this staggering since this control is obviously a copy of the control used by microsoft in its email programs and was designed to replicate this - how did you miss this in testing?

Also if an item is a hyperlink then when the mouse moves over it the mouse pointer should become the "hand" cursor. That way people would know it was a link and not just some underlined text (which is what it is now)
