associating a form with a docking pane

To associate a form with a pane, I do the following:C = MDIDockingPaneManager.CreatePane(5, 200, 120, DockingDirection.DockLeftOf, Nothing)
        C.Title = "Objects"
Then I have some code in the attachpane event:
 If e.item.Id = 5 Then
            e.item.SetHandle((New panelLeft).Handle)
        End If

Is the easiest way to associate a pane with a form?
