Hello All -
I use the Skin Framework in a Visual DataFlex (VDF) application. Currently, the system I'm having trouble with uses 13.0.0 CodeJock controls. I have registered the OCX on a Vista32 machine & all messages say the registration succeeded. I can see the info & it matches what I've seen on other machines. I have run RegSvr32 as an admin, used the VDF install & even the Registrator tool. Same results however I do it. However, when I go to run my app, it will not instantiate the com object. The VDF install registers the Command Bars (also 13.0.0) at the same time & those work perfectly. I have (for testing) installed a later version of VDF that uses the 13.4.0 CodeJock controls. This version of the app runs perfectly & the registry entries for 13.4.0 look similar to the ones for 13.0.0. I cannot easily upgrade 25 other users to the new version at this time & hate to for one workstation. This is a new, totally updated Vista32 install (reinstall actually - new hard drive). Before the reinstall & subsequent MS updates, this machine ran the app with the 13.0.0 controls. So - I'm figuring there is some dependency for the 13.0.0 Skin Framework control that I'm unaware of. Can anyone point me towards what I should check? Thanks for any help - |

Please disregard. Turned out to be a version confusion issue in code.
