Hi we are wondering if anyone knows if there is a correct z-order or front to back procedures for having a mdi form containing child forms that contain docking panes with tab controls controlling picture boxes or handling other forms with docking panes inside of them with tab controls with picture boxes with docking panes inside of them?
We were experiencing the vb6 pop up window of death every time we would try to close the application at runtime (not the stop button in the IDE). We found that the one of the forms we were attaching to a tab contained a docking pane attached to a picture box would create the crash. The crash would only happen after making modifications to that form at design time(such as bringing a picture box to the front to edit and then sending it back) and then running it. It wouldn't crash if we cut and paste the docking pane control back onto the picture box after making our modifications. thanks |
