saving size and position of docking panes to file

   hi everyone.just curious about improvement and solution: user fitting docking panes as he wants, resizing, moving and etc, then he's saving his custom layout to a file.
then he's unpinning all the panes just to watch the results.
once he has loaded the saved layout we see no results - there's no restoration of his 1st custom fit.
does it make some sence in such description?

	How do you do the saving and loading? Can you give us a code sample?
