Hello,
I'm getting crash reports with XTP v17 (the final release version) that I can't quite seem to figure out. They all appear to be coming from Windows XP (x86) users and always occur during during application exit. I believe the problem may be related to my use of the Office 2013 (markup-based) themes, as I never saw this problem when using the Office 2010 themes.
Here's a stack trace: > ntdll.dll!_RtlpWaitForCriticalSection@4() Unknown ntdll.dll!_RtlEnterCriticalSection@4() Unknown ntdll.dll!_KiUserCallbackDispatcher@12() Unknown FolderSizes.exe!CXTPMarkupObject::OnFinalRelease() Line 643 C++ FolderSizes.exe!CCmdTarget::InternalRelease() Line 178 C++ FolderSizes.exe!CXTPMarkupType::CClassList::~CClassList() Line 294 C++ FolderSizes.exe!_execute_onexit_table::__l22::<lambda>() Line 198 C++ FolderSizes.exe!__crt_seh_guarded_call<int>::operator()<<lambda_995298e7d72eb4c2aab26c0585b3abe5>,int <lambda>(void) &,<lambda_293819299cbf9a7022e18b56a874bb5c> >(__acrt_lock_and_call::__l3::<lambda_995298e7d72eb4c2aab26c0585b3abe5> && setup, _execute_onexit_table::__l22::int <lambda>(void) & action, __acrt_lock_and_call::__l4::<lambda_293819299cbf9a7022e18b56a874bb5c> && cleanup) Line 199 C++ FolderSizes.exe!__acrt_lock_and_call<int <lambda>(void) >(const __acrt_lock_id lock_id, _execute_onexit_table::__l22::int <lambda>(void) && action) Line 882 C++ FolderSizes.exe!_execute_onexit_table(_onexit_table_t * table) Line 221 C++ FolderSizes.exe!common_exit(const int return_code, const _crt_exit_cleanup_mode cleanup_mode, const _crt_exit_return_mode return_mode) Line 215 C++ FolderSizes.exe!exit(int return_code) Line 282 C++ FolderSizes.exe!__scrt_common_main_seh() Line 275 C++ kernel32.dll!7c816037() Unknown [Frames below may be incorrect and/or missing, no symbols loaded for kernel32.dll] This is fairly urgent for me, so if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate hearing them. Are the XP machines all Service Pack 3 or does it seem to matter?
Hope you get it straightened out. |

As far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to matter. I've created several virtual machines with XP installations at various service pack levels, and I can only reproduce the crash sporadically on a couple of them. Regards, Mark R.

I believe this problem is resolved.
I had mistakenly linked with the XTP 17 RC build instead of the final release. After re-building with the final release, I'm not getting these crash reports any longer. So it looks like the folks at CodeJock fixed something along the way. Regards, Mark R.
