    Posted: 18 August 2003 at 9:36am

I just purchased Extreme Toolkit Pro because the previous version allowed me to have "CoolMenu"s for the popup menu in XTSystrayIcon. The new version doesn't seem to allow this and the lines in the sample that used to enable this are now commented out. Uncommenting them doesn't help.

What I want/need is CoolMenu style popup menus for XTSystrayIcon. I also want to be able to modify the menu at runtime. A sample of doing this would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Brad

1. Which part is "not possible"?

2. The previous version would at least give me "CoolMenus".

3. How long until the next version?

This is exactly the feature I based my purchase of your product on.

Isn't there some workaround you can suggest? What if I go into the TrayIcon class, add a "CoolMenu" member, initialize this at creation time and modify this at runtime?

Can you guaranty that I will be able to do all of what I want in the next version?

Now you can use "Coolmenu" as context menus.

see customthemes sample: press right button on the view.

There are only problem with system tray.
