How to add Appointment to Calendar ...

   I am playing with the Calendar control and want to see how I can add an Appointment to it without having to create a custom data source and serving data through it.

I think it is more work to just add an appointment to Calendar control if we have to define a custom data source and then provide data through it. 

Is what I want possible with one or two lines of code?

I don't want to give user any means by which they can drag and drop the appointment to another data.
