Ribbon tab can be empty

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   We have version 13.0. We are finding that sometimes after we build our ribbon (when a document is opened we build a ribbon for that document type) and set the active tab that the UI displayed is devoid of any controls. The user has to click another tab at which time the ribbon UI displays correctly (the user then clicks the original tab and it too is "fixed").

This is not easily reproduced. Any ideas of what may be going wrong?
