Validate CommandBarEdit Control

   I have a CommandBarEdit control attached to a ContextMenu. I use this to allow users to rename columns in a report by right-clicking them and then typing a new column name. 

Does anyone know of a way to validate the text in a CommandBarEdit control and show an error message if required (TaskDialog control) without dismissing the ContextMenu?
