TabControl Transparency

   Is there a way to get a transparent TabControl background with an Appearance of 3-xtpTabAppearancePropertyPage2003 and a Color of 32 or 128? Putting it on a TabControlPage doesn't help.  

If you use an Appearance of 11-xtpTabAppearancePropertyAccess2007, there is _no_ Color setting that results in a transparent background.

Am I missing something?  There seems to be only a few combinations that are transparent.
