Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   Hi,

I noticed a glitch with the combo box control using style xtpComboDropDownList.  When using the keyboard to navigate the list of items by typing in the first character of the item it works fine until EnableMarkup is set to true.  Seems that EnableMarkup=True doesnt set the focus properly.

	Another issue with that is setting the .Text property will not work if EnableMarkup is True. Thanks Could this be fixed in the next release?

	I think, Markup don't know, what the control should search for. Instead of text-property you must set the listindex-property. To know, what the corresponding listindex matches the text, you need a copy (e.g.Array, Collection) of the combobox-data. It's the same as an ownerdrawn-combobox.

	I hear what you are saying, and I can get it to work that way. However, in my opinion, the design of the control should handle it just as if it was a standard windows dropdown. Any Let of .Text should go thru a collection or array which would be built when .AddItem takes place. Any Keydown/press would search in similar fashion. I guess thats what I am asking for CJ to do, is to add that functionality in. Any help???
