Hidden columnheader in a ListView?

In the Codejock suitepro listview is there any way to have a columnheader that is present but hidden?

Such a column can be important for enforcing sort for instance

I set a width of 0 to the column but it still appears.

BTW the sort for columns that hold only numeric data sorts numerically which is an improvement over the standard vb listview.

I assume that if the column contains alphanumerics then the sort switches to alphanumeric sort..can this behaviour be set?
