I am using Docking Panes for ActiveX in VB6, and I have found no way of detecting when a pane is selected, closed, moved, or resized by a user. The DockingPane_Resize event does not appear to work. Many more Pane events are needed!

Hello, The next release should correct many of these issues. I have passed your comments along to our developement team to try and get this incorporated into the next release. Cheers, |

Thanks very much - can you possibly give me some idea of when the next release is anticipated? This would greatly help me in planning my development. Regards Tom

Hi there I am now running the latest version of the ActiveX Docking Panes (version 8.6.0.0), and there still appears to be no way of detecting the event which occurs when a pane is selected. This is absolutely critical - I can't find a way (any workaround would do!) of determining which is the active docking pane form. Tthe form_activate and form_deactivate events for forms contained within docking panes do not appear to fire in the expected manner, and the docking pane control itself still exposes no _Select or _Click event. I use Docking Panes for ActiveX in VB6, more Pane events are needed! I confirm all written by tomhermolle how to avoid user double-click on IPane and the subsequent fluttering on screen?????

Events have been added for docking panes in the next release. They work as expected without any problems.
