unbound items

   we use an unbound item to display a heading (but not a category, since that changes the look).

However, even an unbound item, you can still type in the text field. 

Shouldn't this be prevented, since the text is not accessible?

Basically we want a category that looks like a child item (with children) rather than the big block of gray that shows with a normal category.
