Hi
I'm trying to create a custom menu using the Designer. If I create a new project there, it comes with a pre-set menu and a toolbar. I would like to modify it a little (change some names, get rid of some items). HOW DO I DO THIS? The documentation says that: "After you add the control to the menu bar, any changes you make to the properties of the controls in the Controls section are not automatically applied to the controls in the Form section." If it doesn't get automatically applied then how to apply it manually??? Regards Michal Blazejczyk |

When a control is selected, there is an option under the properties
window that allows you to choose whether to apply the changes to all
instances of the control, or only the single instance.

Hi
The option under the properties window says "Apply For 1 Control". I see that I can switch it to "Apply to group" and then the changes apply to controls on the form. However, this option is gone from some of the controls (namely, from a control that I modified while "Apply For 1 Control" was still set). How do I get it back for that control? And more important: How do I delete controls (items) from the menu??? Or from the toolbar? And why isn't the documentation mentioning all that? Regards Michal Blazejczyk |

To delete a control from toolbar\menubar, simply drag it off to an area that does not have a toolbar\menubar and drop it.
To delete it from the project, select in from the list of control in the control window and click the delete button. |

Thanks!
Now, how do I modify the ID assigned to an icon? Or do I have to create a new icon for that? Best Michal |

Icons are associated with an ID. To completely remove the icon,
thus de-associating an icon with an ID, select the ID of the item you
want to remove the icon. Then click on the "Normal" icon for that
item, then click the "cut" button. THis will remove the icon from
the ID.

OK, got it. Now... How do I get rid of an icon that is associated with an ID that doesn't have a control? Of course, I can export my xcb file to XML and make the changes there but I guess the Designer was invented exectly so that I don't have to do it...

Just found one more thing... In the "Accel properties" dialog box, the OK button cannot be clicked with the mouse... Or with space... Only using Enter when the ID combo box is active, and even this doesn't work every time...
Wow. Best, Michal Blazejczyk |

Hmm... I don't seem to have any problems with the Accel keys. Before pressing OK do you have your key combination entered?
