why id of CommandBarPopup is 0?

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   when i add a button with these code:
Set ControlFile = CommandBars.ActiveMenuBar.Controls.Add(xtpControlPopup,1000, "&File")
Debug.print controlfile.id
i can't get the extract id ,
but if i set it's id explicitly like this: controlfile.id = 10000
and it works now, why?
