I have a my own sorting on the behind data.
What event is the best to use? Is there a before sort event,columnheader click or something like that? Now I use this hittest on mouseclick but this event fires to often and it fires my sorting to often.

Hi,
My best guess would be SortOrderChanged event. Clicking column in header and in groupbox will fire this event.
Do you have somekind of special sorting algorithm? Sorting in ReportControl is pretty good once you know how. Look at the properties SortPriority, GroupPriority and Format. These properties can be quite usefull when sorting is applied. Even sorting types like time, date, long and integer are supported. Maybe you would like to use ReportControl sorting instead of your own and maybe not, depends on needed algorithm(s) of course.
